On Saturday when we were in San Diego we decided to forgo the zoo (based on our experience at Sea World) and spend the morning at the beach and the afternoon at Balboa Park. We had a great time and Landon seemed to really enjoy the time we spent there. Even though he hardly smiles in pictures, he was loving the rides!

There was also an old fashioned carousel that Landon and Jared rode.

Finally, there was a train ride you could take that lasted about 3-4 minutes. This definitely got the most emotion out of Landon! He said "wow" so many times, pointing out the animal statues and trees!

Overall, Saturday was a great day! It was low-key and just what we need as a family!
