Our summer fun continues and we are having a great time with our final month before school starts (although school only is 1-2 days a week, but it still means the start of more of a routine and schedule!)
Landon did swim lessons again this year and I am so proud of him!
He really has so much confidence in the water this year and is becoming quite the fish.
It has been amazing to watch both him and Blake grow in their swimming skills since we can go so often at my parent's neighborhood pool.
Blake constantly goes underwater and kicks his little legs while holding his breath...it is so cute!
And Landon spends at least 80% of his time under water or jumping off the side while we are swimming.
It is so fun to watch him in the water. He has the biggest smile on his face the whole time that he is in the pool and I know he is having the best time!
During swim lessons Blake was so good and would sit on my lap and eat snacks while watching his brother swim. Next year it is his turn to join in the swim lesson fun!
Swimming is exhausting though :)
We have continued to go to the park this summer with friends.
The boys love the park and Landon loves to climb trees, so he is always scouting out places he can climb!
We also went to a place called Babby Farms.
It is a fun petting/feeding zoo that you can go around and feed and pet various animals.
It was fun to get so close to all the animals and Blake was in heaven!
He loves animals and had such a great time!
Landon had fun too but was a little hesitant at times to pet some of the bigger animals (like the yak, camel and zebra!)
After feeding and petting all the animals we let the boys do a pony ride!
Landon really did love that but Blake said "I don't wike it" the entire time! However, on the way home I asked Blake if he liked the pony ride and he said "yes I did"..."it was super fun"! Crazy kid!!!
Jared and I have gotten to have a couple of nights out and it has been so fun getting to spend one on one time together!
We've also gone berry picking a couple of times with my parents on some different farms.
The boys always do so great picking blueberries, blackberries and raspberries in the heat and they have the best time!
Although I think Blake eats more than he actually puts in the bucket!
And one more bit of summer fun news...I am currently 16 weeks pregnant!
I needed to document this so that I don't get accused of not loving our 3rd little peanut :)
I am due January 19, 2015 and we are so excited!
(15 weeks)
I am feeling pretty good right now and everything is going great with the baby. I was sooooo tired during the first trimester. Afternoons would hit and I couldn't keep my eyes open. Thankfully I haven't really been sick or nauseous and the fatigue is starting to ease.
(16 weeks)
Of course I am hoping for a girl but would be thrilled to have a boy as well. Jared is convinced that there is no chance of us having a girl and "knows" it will be a boy :)
We've decided to wait until the baby is born to find out, so we have a bit longer until we will know if these boys will get another brother or get to have a baby sister :)
