We LOVE Great Grandpa and Great Grandma

This past weekend the boys and I went with my dad over to Medford to visit my grandparents.

My dad was going to my Great Aunt's 90th birthday party and I decided to take advantage of him going down there to visit my grandparents with the boys! Although the trip was a little exhausting for this 22 week pregnant mama, it was well worth it and I LOVED seeing the boys with my grandparents and spending quality time with them!

It was also nice because we got to see a lot of family we haven't seen in a very long time at the birthday party!
We managed to stay very busy the 4 days we were there!

The boys got to feed the birds everyday with Grandpa

Read books with Grandma

Watch "Fox and the Hound" for the first time

I brought some toys with us for the boys, which kept them entertained at various times when we were at my grandparents house

My SIL brought my nephews down, which was fun to see them!

Medford has a GREAT train park that gives train rides,

has model trains running and a bunch of other train related sites

Landon loved the train ride...

Blake wasn't so sure!

These pictures make me laugh so hard looking at Blake's eyes...he has no idea what to think of the ride!

He did go on it twice though, so he must not have been too scared :)

My nephew loves trains, so it was fun to be able to go to the park with them!

The boys love their baby cousin and kept wanting to hold him...

He's much more mobile this time then he was in July, so he's not much into being sedentary anymore!

One of Blake's highlights was going in and out, in and out, in and out of the doggie door!

Crazy kid couldn't get enough :)

But by far the highlight for both boys was getting to ride the scooter with Grandpa!

They loved going for "walks" with him and it was so cute because every time they pushed the horn grandpa would go faster!

I would give anything to live closer to my grandparents but I'm so, so, so thankful that the boys can still have a relationship with them.

These two have blessed my life in so many ways, and I just hope that Landon,  Blake and the newest little one will understand that and can appreciate and love them as much as I do!

And just to prove that my boys are soooo hard to get a picture of, this is one of MANY out takes in trying to get them to smile and look at the camera!

We all can't wait until we get to see Grandpa and Grandma again!

First Day of School 2014

Yesterday marked the last year of Landon's first day of preschool and Blake's first day of preschool!

Blake is doing the 1 day/week, 2 year old preschool class that Landon started in 2 years ago.

And Landon is going 2 days/week!

They both go on Wednesday mornings, which is nice for whoever watches the boys while I work that day.

Blake was pretty excited to wear his backpack and get all ready for school!

He did great his first day and didn't have any issues when I left him in his class.  I think it has helped that he went all last year and picked up Landon with me, so he was used to the building and the classroom!

Landon had a great first day also and it's fun because he actually has a male teacher this year!

It is rare to have male teachers before middle and high school and I am excited for him!

I'm very thankful for this little preschool!  I know there are a LOT of good ones out there, but this one has been so flexible with our family and has been a great fit for us.

I look very confused in the pictures I took with the boys!

I'm blaming the sun in my eyes!

L.O.V.E these pics of Jared with the boys!

Apparently the sun wasn't a factor for him!

Next year this big boy will be off to Kindergarten!
